Job summary
You will serve as a Program Manager in the Program Management Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. You will serve as the Special Projects Integrated Program Team Leader (IPTL) for the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) programs NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Major duties
You will direct the development of program plans to fulfill technical, cost schedule, and performance objectives. You will manage a program acquisition life-cycle (e.g., development, design, costs, acquisition and contracts strategies) in support of a program. You will oversee financial and contractual execution and resources for programs to ensure operations are within budget constraints. You will direct the development of a program plan. You will plan program execution strategies to overcome program challenges (e.g., mitigate cost, schedule, performance risks).
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DA/05/GS 12-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Providing overall direction, coordination, and management of all facets and functions of an administrative program or several closely related programs; 2) Developing and coordinating all required program acquisition documentation and briefings; and ensuring all program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership; 3) Leading program reviews, acquisition strategy and documentation efforts, installation efforts and manage contractors to meet program requirements and achieve fielding along with all required Special Projects; 4) Planning, leading and managing all resources for future Special Projects (Including Complex Hardware/Software Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)) for EMALS/AAG; 5) Developing detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders through the PPBE process and developing annual budget execution to meet benchmarks for obligations and expenditures; 6) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost schedule and performance objectives and assuring that all planning is fully integrated with the overall program team effort and that of any other participating services and agencies when necessary.
