Job summary
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the QA SUPPORT DIVISION of NMC CWD DET SEAL BEACH.
Major duties
You will serve as the Inventory Accuracy Officer (IAO) and as an analyst and advisor to the Unit on the administrative and operational aspects of programs and management. You will prepare written and oral presentations, along with recommendations on a wide variety of problems and issues as they arise within the Unit. You will develop manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), and directives covering administrative aspects of ordnance operations in accordance with Navy and regional regulations and guidelines. You will analyzes functions and activities being considered for conversion to contract operations. You will review administrative audits and investigative reports to determine appropriate changes or corrective action required. You will perform management surveys to determine compliance with regulations, procedures, sound management practices, and effective utilization of organizations work force.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and advising on administrative and operational programs and management to identify quality control issues and make recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency of ordnance operations.. Education
Education may be substituted as follows: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
