Job summary

You will serve as the The F/A-18 & EA-18G Integrated Product Team (IPT) Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment (CIDD) Release Manager in the Research & Development Group, Spectrum Warfare Department, Avionics/Weapons Integration Engineering Division, Avionics Product Delivery Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Major duties

You will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of new functionality and warfighting capability to the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring that sound system engineering and integration testing is applied to the new capabilities. You will establish, maintain, and publish the CIDD SCS schedule, optimizing the effectiveness of the SCS development activities. You will provide oversight, coordination, and technical input in support of F/A-18 and EA-18G IPT activities of system/software development and integration testing.

Qualification

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Adjudicating Change Request (CRs)/System Anomaly Reports (SARs) via the Design Correction Review Board (DCRB) process; 2) Communicating risk to leadership regarding changing requirements and requirements volatility; 3) Experience in Program Interval Planning (PI) activities, providing Cost/Schedule/Performance assessments of products for each PI; 4) Establishing, maintaining and publishing the CIDD SCS schedule, optimizing the effectiveness of the Software Configuration Sets (SCS) development activities; 5) Applying Agile Principles and implementing Lean Practices across the SCS life cycle.
