Job summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST for various Public Works Department (PWD)NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Major duties

You will have the ability to gather assembles, analyze and prepare strategy for presenting, explaining, and documenting the budget request to the Business Line Coordinator. You will have the ability to present and justify a budget to the Public Works Officer/ Deputy Public Works Officer and the Business/ Product Line Coordinator. You will have skill in identifying. analyzing, and resolving a range of budgetary problems, including developing alternates methods of funding and substantial reprogramming. You will have comprehensive knowledge of command budget execution policies and procedures in order to recommend reappointments, deferral and rescissions of funds to the Public Works Officer/ Deputy Public Works officer.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing the knowledge of management principles of budget processes to determine operational effectiveness; 2) Providing technical advice on budgetary issues; 3) Implementing corrective measures within the framework of various program requirements to ensure mission initiatives are met; and 4) Conducting analyses and studies to determine the effectiveness of a wide range of management and budget issues within organizational programs.
