Job summary

You will serve as a Production Controller in the FRCMA Aircraft Department of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.

Major duties

You will analyze workload objectives to provide guidance on the overall management or accountability of the production workload. You will perform inventory management actions necessary to provide material support to production activities. You will input data into a workload system to load routed components and establish required due dates with the system. You will use a reporting system and management information to report current trends, job status, expenditures, backlog, work in progress, and completions. You will work with key management personnel to resolve production work problems.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Applying production control methods, techniques, practices, procedures, and operations related to the overhaul and repair of aircraft (A/C) systems, components, and parts; 2) Planning and organizing workload priorities to meet production requirements and start/completion dates; 3) Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, technical data, work orders, supply system catalogs, and other resource documents for acquisition of materials and equipment; 4) Utilizing computerized reporting systems to store, interpret, and retrieve production process information; 5) Performing production control and material management actions to ensure production outputs are in accordance with workload execution schedule.
