Major duties

Develop production schedules for customers. Review scopes of works to determine degree of repair. Schedule work orders to ensure production goals are met. Provide feedback to upper management on schedule compliance to adhere to depot's mission. Report any discrepancies in program funding, production schedules, or quality to higher management. Update production supervisors with new programs, status updates, and necessary changes that could impact their production schedules. Coordinate with work center managers to reconcile data and correct any cost discrepancies to ensure all service charges have been cleared.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing production schedules for planning project timeline to completion, analyzing cost estimates to alleviate potential discrepancies in funding, OR identifying production bottlenecks that could impact accomplishing production workload. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Cost Estimation and Analysis Problem Solving Production and Processing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
