Job summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will track the status of actions/orders using automated and manual systems and through contacts with vendors/contractors and with functional personnel within the command. You will collect vendor quotes and proposals according to competitive requirement bid information. You will assemble and prepare procurement management reports by gathering and consolidating pertinent information. You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical work for contract specialists and contracting officer authorized representatives, to include negotiating procurement activities. You will use electronic systems for creating, extracting, adding, deleting, editing, and storing information in forms, general correspondence, reports, and memoranda.

Qualification

GS-06: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using electronic systems for creating, extracting, adding, deleting, editing, and storing information in completion of forms, tabular, and text materials, general correspondence, reports, and memoranda; 2) Returning packages to the point of origin for any needed revisions or corrections; 3) Maintaining progress, status, and statistical records and reports; and 4) Inputting various statistical and acquisition data into data processing equipment. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating correct and proper spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, formats, and terminology of the office; 2) Utilizing office automation equipment such as word processing software to enter, create, and edit correspondence; formatting documents and reports, entering data into a database, and producing and printing database products; 3) Reviewing documentation for contracts to ensure completeness and correctness and to identify additional sources of acquiring correct information; 4) Developing standard contract documents to ensure all related documents are updated accordingly; and 5) Demonstrating knowledge of and adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), processes, procedures, and policies related to one or more procurement phases or functions.
