Major duties

Responsible for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosives (CBRNE) and Protection related planning efforts of the division in support of USARPAC missions. Direct CBRNE planning efforts to support the Joint Staff tasked deliberate planning process. Review regulations issued by higher headquarters to determine impact on CBRNE programs and functions. Provide CBRNE staff oversight and advice when dealing with emergencies or participating in exercises. Participate in major studies and/or projects having an impact on the CBRNE mission, programs, or operations of the command.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with planning efforts and operational planning involving Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosives (CBRNE); and analyzing and developing recommendations to resolve problems regarding operations planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
