Job summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will serve as the government's designated representative and contracting officer representative. You will develop strong relationships with Base Operating Support (BOS) workforce, leads, and management. You will prepare government cost-estimates for task orders and minor modifications using industry/DoD accepted standards. You will work conduct on-site assessment to Facility Support Contracts to observe work performance and methods employes to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings. You will provide data/reports/information prior to the expiration of established deadlines. You will review contract specifications for compatibility with the administration of performance assessment methods and recommend solutions to unusual problems. You will perform contract and performance assessment duties (i.e. oversight of the Contractor’s Quality Management System program, pre-proposal and post-award performance assessment tasks, and contract administrative support).

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing cost analysis and estimates to determine the reasonableness of the contractor's proposal for modifications or changed conditions; 2) Conducting contractor performance assessment operations to ensure proper procedures are followed in accordance with applicable specifications; 3) Reading blueprints, schematic diagrams, and architectural drawings to carry out the terms of contracts and assessment plans; 4) Acting as a liaison between customers and contractors regarding contract modifications and change orders; 5) Identifying problems in contractor performance in order to make recommendations for resolutions; and 6) Investigating complaints from customers relative to service, damages, property loss and other matters that involve the contract.
