Job summary

You will serve as a OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the Warfare Effectiveness Department, SoS LVC Environment Architecture Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Major duties

You will define clear objectives criteria for each experimentation project. You will document and communicate critical knowledge gained from experimentation to inform future assessments and decision-authority. You will facilitate vendor interactions with NAE teams to ensure smooth demonstration and experimentation processes. You will develop resource allocation plans and ensure availability throughout the experimentation phases. You will continuously conduct capability assessments based on acquired knowledge and results. You will conduct research within the NAE to identify specific use cases for each capability through experimentation. You will define clear objectives criteria for each experimentation project. You will monitor experimentation progress and outcomes to determine if initial objectives are being achieved. You will research and analyze the applicability of assessed capabilities across diverse NAE platforms (aircraft, support systems, etc.).

Qualification

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DP-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing communication channels to share insights and findings across entities. 2) Evaluating resource needs for experimentation projects within the NAE (Naval Aviation Enterprise). 3) Developing resource allocation plans and ensure availability throughout the experimentation phases. 4) Establishing partnerships with external agencies to enhance synergy in capability experimentation. 5) Creating detailed plans and strategies for transitioning successful capabilities from experimentation to operational deployment.). Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
