Job summary
You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER in the Logistics Readiness Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PEARL HARBOR.
Major duties
You will operate motor vehicles, forklifts, and other Material Handling Equipment. You will perform the full range of material handling and warehousing functions. You will work with and operate mechanized materials handling systems and storage aids systems. You will manage and/or monitor Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reports to highlight priorities and address deficiencies for correction. You will comply with all established safety, environmental, equipment use, and security requirements.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to and have experience performing a majority of the full range of tasks including receiving, issuing, handling, preparing for shipment, segregating, storing, stowing, inventorying, and recording the movement and storage of supplies, equipment and specialized materials, in accordance with prescribed regulations; performing inspections of incoming shipments to check for damage and correct quantities; documenting discrepancies and damage; reading shipping documents; using computer applications to document the movement of material; complying with proper handling and storage procedures; operate material handling equipment; reviewing warehouse storage areas and recommending consolidation or relocation of stored items to maximize warehouse space. Work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
