About the Position: This position is within the Directorate of Supply and Transportation (DS&T) located at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Major duties

Plan item locations for inventory warehouses by in-storage checks for obvious maintenance needs. Answer work questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (e.g. technical orders). Provide specific direction on behalf of management to subordinate employees to accomplish assigned tasks. Analyze work progress, sequence, and procedures that may cause delay for work operations to meet deadlines. Ensure safety methods/ techniques are followed by on-site inspections (e.g. inspects work areas, handling and shipment of radioactive materials).

Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Ability To Lead or Supervise Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean, and in order) PHYSICAL EFFORT Must be physically fit, normal use of both arms and legs. Position requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, and working in uncomfortable positions and conditions. Physical handling of materials is routine. May be required to lift or carry items that weigh up to 40 pounds, shifting/relocating heavier items using appropriate material handling equipment. Some sedentary work is involved. WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions may be hazardous and disagreeable, and may involve exposure to materials with characteristics such as toxicity and irritation. Must wear personal protective equipment as required and is subject to cuts, scrapes and bruises. Works indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Evaluations
