Job summary

You will serve as a Marine Machinery Mechanic Leader in the Corrosion Control Product Family of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Major duties

You will advise others based on your knowledge of the makeup, operation, and installation of mechanical on the ship and in the shop. You will layout work for 10 or more employees and ensure satisfactory completion. You will advise others based on your working knowledge of required tooling to accomplish work. You will interpret and apply blueprints, system diagrams, engineering drawings, and use mathematical formulas such as standard formulas, shop mathematics, trade theories, and industry practices to calculate needed materials and problem solving.
