Job summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties
You will analyze and report projected unexpended balances and formulate approaches to problems in contractual and procurement areas. You will recommend the reallocation of resources and funding among related jobs to ensure necessary professional labor and funding are available to complete the research. You will communicate with NRL Budget, Supply, and Contract Specialist, Branch and Section Heads and sponsoring organizations regarding the execution of approved budgets. You will assist the Center Director in carrying out functions and tasks in the Branch. You will devise, design, or suggest new or improved forms, reports and methods for record keeping and reporting.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NO-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience shows the ability to 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Planning and organizing work and; 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree OR A combination of education and experience totaling 100% A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
