Job summary
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (FINANCIAL) in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
Major duties
You will serve as an analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations. You will be responsible for day-to-day budget management and administration to include responding to customer financial inquires and routine/special audits. You will track department funds distribution and obligation You will develop reporting procedures to address department requirements. You will prepare budgetary documentation or reports based on program analysis. You will prepare budget exhibits and obligation phasing plans for submission to NAVFAC EXWC Leadership and NAVFAC HQ FM.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing day-to-day budget management and administration to include responding to customer financial inquiries and routine/special audits; 2) Conducting department funds distribution and obligation according to established plans, monitors problem areas, measures progress toward reaching objectives and provide management with accurate, complete and timely funds execution reports and recommendations to resolve budget shortfalls; 3) Developing the budget for all Navy Working Capital Fund requirements for department and develop general fund requirements and coordinate with appropriate program managers; and 4) Operating complex government financial systems and knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and policies related to financial management of department type programs. ***NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume to be considered.
