About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist for the 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Plans and Operations Division, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Major duties

Review and analyzes short-and long-range strategic logistics planning objectives and goals. Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for contracts and task orders established to execute LRC missions within the area of operation. Prepare and present oral and written presentations in a clear, concise and effective manner in order to represent, defend and establish installation maintenance logistics operations Serve as Logistics Management Specialist responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and integrating logistics operations.

Preparing presentations and participates in conferences with responsible representatives of industry and other government activities. AND; 3. Creating and submitting documents required to establish contracts, monitor performance, and accept invoices for payment. AND; 4. Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities and schedules completion. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Planning and Evaluating Planning and organizing/Time Management Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
