Major duties
Manage a comprehensive program of logistical support for assigned weapon system(s). Serve as a principal point of contact for all repair issues for assigned vehicle(s). Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists as to requirements being met as scheduled Negotiate maintenance provisions with other commands, outside agencies, and/or below depot Sources of Repair (SOR) as applicable. Ensure that each program is fully integrated coordinated and effectively implemented to attain desired goals . Serve as focal point in areas such as status of support, material readiness posture planning and user satisfaction. Ensures that actual accomplishments measure up to requirements and expectations, and if needed, develops and adjusts plans and schedules.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Maintenance Planning and Management Oral Communication Support Equipment Technical Data Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). ???????Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
