Major duties

Maintain oversight of Directorate operational workload to include Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) metrics, policy, plans, and special programs. Coach, train, and develop Repair and Return (R and R) depot procedures, supply discrepancy reports (SDR), and the Operations Team responsible for mission support functions. Identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization. Take action to correct problems and negative trends, explores all alternative approaches to resolve these situations and selects the best solution. Evaluates the effectiveness of functional program responsibilities assigned by review of reports, discussion with supervisors, employees, and observation. Provides subject matter expertise and reviews, develops, refines, analyzes, and coordinates Foreign Military Sales (FMS) policy changes. Synchronize CECOM SAMD's operational portfolio to adequately support the ASAE mission. Provide guidance on all logistics and operational issues to SAMD leadership.

Specialized experience: Appling logistics management principles, concepts, policies or regulations to formulate concept of operations for implementing operational missions by the Command; Conducting studies to analyze existing program and recommend improvements in efficiency and/or effectiveness; and Providing guidance regarding logistical operational requirements, for example, policies, plans, metrics, or special programs; and Implementing processes, policies, or procedures of Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
