Job summary

You will serve as a Joint Weaponeering-Targeting Program Manager of NAVAVNWARDEVCEN. This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Major duties

You will serve as the Targeting Program Manager and senior targeting subject matter expert (SME) for the U.S. Navy (USN). You will provide technical expertise on highly complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to technical or military infrastructure conditions for one or more foreign countries. You will review targeting products prepared by other Navy entities or other elements of the assigned activity and make changes based on expert judgment and experience. You will plan and coordinate targeting activities and interpret existing policy to make technical or operational decisions. You will manage, design, develop, implement, modify, adapt requirements, and present information for a variety of USN foundational and advanced targeting training curriculum and work center certification programs. You will lead military and civilian working groups in addressing short and long-term targeting and fires initiatives by prioritizing and validating Fleet targeting requirements and advocating change. You will direct/coordinate NSAWC responses to and provides expert U.S. Navy oriented recommendations and points of view for draft documents related to Targeting or Weaponeering. You will research, design, develop, implement, modify, adapt, and manage targeting course curriculum and training to provide operational and tactical level targeting training and knowledge for Marine Corps and USN targeting personnel. You will ensure standardization and the highest quality of instruction to targeting personnel and support to deployed forces.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: researching and extrapolating targeting intelligence operations data and requirements in order to design, manage, and implement advanced warfare training curricula and instruction methods to effectively train deployed forces.
