Job summary
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) DIVISION (BUPERS-051) of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Major duties
You will analyze recruitment processes to assure quality and consistency in the administration of a recruitment program. You will develop methods to increase the effectiveness of human resources recruitment process You will resolve staffing and recruitment management problems throughout an organization. You will partner with senior leaders in the human resources community on policy development. You will review local human resources instructions to ensure consistency with regulations, court decisions, and policy.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide advisory service/authoritative policy interpretations on complex or controversial Human Resources Management issues; 2) Interpreting and explaining human resources regulations, policies and procedures according to guidance; 3) Assisting with management and administration of recruitment and placement programs; 4) Designing, organizing and conducting comprehensive studies and special projects to ensure HR processes and procedures are effective.
