Job summary

Major duties
This position is located in the JFHQ-State Human Resources Office (HRO). Provides advice and support to managers, supervisors, and the HRO on recruitment and placement actions for AGR Personnel. Ensures required selection documentation and information contained thereon is correct including military compatibility Responsible for the timely and accurate administration of voluntary and involuntary separation actions and Army AGR retirement actions. Consults with other Human Resources Specialist to facilitate Full-Time manning reporting.
Qualification
MILITARY GRADES: E4 THROUGH E6 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position with experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least 1-year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Specialized experience is experience that prepared the applicant to perform the duties of the position. The applicant's educational-degree study program or military or civilian academic courses may substitute for some specialized experience. An applicant must demonstrate the specialized experience competencies (skills, knowledge, abilities and behaviors) to qualify for a position identified by its position grade and career level. Specialized experience factors encompass human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force.
Education
You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-09. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
