Job summary
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER in the Unaccompanied and Family Housing Commander, Naval Region Northwest of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA.
Major duties
You will analyze short or long-range housing plans to identify trends in programs to ensure the accomplishment of established goals and objectives. You will oversee Public Private Venture (PPV) Partner business agreement or management plan maintenance compliance. You will incorporate the public-private venture (PPV) project into the installation's referral system to maximize occupancy. You will assign daily tasks to staff to ensure work is completed based on priorities and capabilities of the employees.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying federal, state, regional, and local housing management policies, concepts, laws and regulations to the management, operation, and maintenance of housing programs; 2) Developing new management techniques and methodology to devise solutions for unique or complex problems related to housing, facilities, tenants, services, and/or equipment; 3) Ensuring the effective and efficient use of all financial resources; and 4) Providing the full range of supervisory services to subordinate personnel (i.e. determining work assignments, evaluating performance, recommending corrective actions, etc.).
