Job summary
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (OA) in the PERSONNEL SUPPORT DIVISION, HOUSING DEPARTMENT ofCOMFLEACT YOKOSUKA . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
Major duties
You will perform routine counseling of prospective and current occupants with regard to right, privileges, and responsibilities of occupancy. You will maintain eligibility and occupancy lists; and assign quarters within established procedures and instructions. You will prepare routine reports concerning housing occupancy, vacancy, placement, and other related activities. You will notify the appropriate community organization in response to requests from occupants or from observations in situations requiring their assistance e.g., law enforcement, animal control, etc. You will provide information on privately-owned housing availability.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one year which was equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing selected assignments in standard housing management functions in accordance with basic procedures and instructions, (i.e. housing referrals, assigning and terminating community leased quarters, and processing occupant requests for routine maintenance). Education
