Job summary
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the N02-F COMPTROLLER Division of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE.
Major duties
You will serve as a liaison with higher headquarters budget analysts on pertinent issues, responding promptly to budget queries. You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of policies, precedents, goals, objectives, and guidelines of financial regulations. You will research and interpret financial regulations to find solutions to complex fiscal issues. Provide financial guidance and assistance to NAVEUR/NAVAF/SIXTHFLT managers and staff You will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Fund Status Reports for use by senior analysts and management. You will monitor and analyze all funding requests under cognizance to ensure funds do not exceed amounts authorized. You will assist in performance of budget administration functions in the budget formulation, execution and review of the command's operating budget.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Financial Systems: Standard Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS), Command Financial Management System (CFMS), Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP); 2) Generating funding documents and reconciliation of financial transactions; 3) Producing budget exhibits; 4) Developing spend plans, obligation phasing plans and tracking variances throughout budget execution cycle.
