Job summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the FORCE COMPTROLLER DIVISION of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT. Pay Scale: GS - 07: $54,896 - $71,366 per annum GS - 09: $67,147 - $87,291 per annum

Major duties

You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by higher-graded analysts. You will prepare preliminary budget estimates, financial reviews, etc. for a few relatively stable programs or program support activities. You will help higher-grade co-workers within the immediate organizational unit to do their work. You will check the accuracy and consistency of data and decide which records and documents to review and extract data from. You will analyze and evaluate changes in program plans and funding and/or budgetary relationships.

Qualification

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing budgetary or accounting data to assist in formulating budget and estimates, evaluate changes in program plans and funding and conducting searches of budget and financial records to provide factual data to assure funds are not over or under obligated and are spent in a timely manner. GS-07:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing automated financial systems to analyze, interpret and summarize accounting, budgetary and financial data, to assist higher grade analyst in preparing budget estimates to ensure the work is accurately completed in a timely manner. Education
