Job summary
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the THIRTIETH NAVAL CONTRUCTION REGIMENT of THIRTIETH NAVAL CONSTRUCTION REGIMENT.
Major duties
You will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and administering budget and accounting functions. You will oversee proper budget management and financial planning to ensure efficient use of funds to support travel and shipment expenditures, service procurement, and supply requisitions. You will assist in formulating budgets, monitoring budget execution, and advising on financial matters to solve logistical challenges. You will provide financial oversight to all supported camps and subordinate units. You will serve as the government travel credit card coordinator screening and approving signed travel authorizations and vouchers.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and coordinating budget and accounting functions; compiling information and preparing financial management or budget reports; and reviewing travel authorizations and charges. Education
In lieu of the specialized experience listed above, you may also qualify for the position through ONE of the following: Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
