Major duties
You will Perform functions such as: formation of a budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs and activities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers. You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions. You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting or financial management duties and responsibilities.
Qualification
GS-07 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Resume must reflect experience in performing budget plans and reviewing and evaluating budget requests. GS-09 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience performing financial management, budget formulation, and accounting functions utilizing policies, and procedures and/or analyzing and summarizing data from financial systems, documents, and reports. Analyzing program trends/anomalies in accounting, system transactions; analyzing specific problem areas arising within the accounting system or program operations and recommending solutions; and evaluating the current status of accounting or reporting systems. Experience in various financial systems (i.e. CFMS-C, SABRS, DAI, & Navy ERP).
