Job summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will provide engineering support in the field of construction contracts between the organization and private contractors. You will provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects. You must review technical engineering specifications, drawings, and statements of work covering complex and diverse designs for constructability and accuracy. You will apply technical knowledge of engineering practices and construction methods in conjunction with sound judgements. You will maintain extensive contact with key contractor representatives to promote partnership and quickly resolve problems.

Qualification

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing pre-award technical reviews of contract documents for Bid ability, Constructability, Operability and Environmental compliance on Design-Bid-Build and Design Build projects of varying difficulty and complexity; 2) Performing Field Quality Assurance duties on construction contracts; 3) Providing contract oversight on contractor Safety and Quality Control programs; 4) Fully functioning as an experienced and independent Quality Assurance (QA) Representative in the field of construction in the areas of Structural, Civil, Mechanical and electrical building systems (NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume).
