Job summary
You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the ELECTRICAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Major duties
You will coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment and assists trade help required with shop planners; and plans sequences of tasks, layouts, worker assignments and any special work methods to be utilized. You will resolve working problems and take action to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and other delays, requesting special permission, decisions, or assistance from higher levels of authority as necessary. You will preview job at worksite; coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment and assists trade help required with shop planners and plans sequence of tasks, layouts, worker assignments. You will perform detailed, planning, scheduling, work direction, coordination with assist trades, inspections and certifications. You will assigns tasks, tools, equipment and materials to workers; lay out work for the group and interpret plans and instructions. You will instruct workers on proper methods, use and care of equipment, and safe work practices.
