Job summary
You will serve as a Director of Weaponeering Operations in the Weaponeering Operations Department N20 at CRUISE MISSILE SUPPORT ACTIVITY PACIFIC.
Major duties
You will be responsible for the management of the Weaponeering Department (N20) through the supervision of the subordinate staff of 20 Federal employees and seven active-duty personnel. You will balance workload and provides overall direction and vision to the subordinate unit supervisors on a wide range of functional and administrative issues. You will establish, revise, or review policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design. You will establish metric and analysis systems for units managed to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory procedures. You will identify needs for change in organization priorities and takes action to implement such changes. You will provide subordinate supervisors and staff with direction and advice regarding policies, procedures, and guidelines. You will review training recommended by subordinate supervisors to assure it is proper and promotes effective operation of the organization as a whole. You will lead analysis projects for lower graded professional weaponeering specialists; reviews analyses and recommendations provided by team members. You will review subordinate units’ work products to ensure compliance with information and operational security policies, principles, and practices. You will oversee and/or execute approval and retention of command level approval documentation and supporting artifacts as specified inapplicable governing documentation. You will serve as command’s N23 Weaponeering lead precision strike subject matter expert for CMSA PAC staff, Supervisors, Department Heads, Technical Director, and Commanding Officer. You will serve as liaison with all relevant entities to inform, educate, and support operations and exercises involving CMSA PAC. You will generate briefing materials and presents oral briefings for senior officers within USINDOPACOM, USSTRATCOM, USFFC, GCCs, Fleets, subordinate commands, weapon system program offices and contractors as required. You will identify the need for special projects and determines milestones and goals.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and in-depth knowledge of methods and systems used for TLAM, CPS, and LRHW weaponeering, Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM), and target database production distribution, and maintenance and ability to support in-depth analysis to provide quantitative and qualitative techniques for ongoing development and refinement. Experience and in-depth knowledge of complex weaponeering and TCM data and ability to independently research and recommend operational process improvements. Experience applying advanced analytical processes to the coordination of new and improved information system planning, design and implementation. Experience actively maintaining current knowledge of adversary advancements and recommends enhancements necessary for TMPC systems; and ability to provide informed real world operational weaponeering and TCM input to national policies, applications, databases and processes and standards governing US worldwide TLAM, CPS, and LRHW operations.
