Job summary

You will serve as a DEPUTY DIRECTOR of PLANS & ASSESSMENT BRANCH in the MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT COMMAND (MCCDC) and INTEGRATION (CD&I) of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.

Major duties

You will provide direction to a multi—disciplinary team of government (military, civilian, and contractor) personnel. You will be representing the Marine Corps in support of and Joint—sponsored work groups, integrated planning teams, and experiments, requiring the incumbent to be away from the office for days at a time. You will assist in recommending and developing the body of evidence to support the long-range strategic direction of the Force. You will oversee the writing of quarterly force design assessments that will incorporate service-wide input, signed by the Executive Director of CD I. You will prepare consolidated work and event calendars to synchronize the office's work efforts in support of Force Design and Development processes

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Understanding the execution of force design, force development, integration activities, threat-informed, future-focused, integrated modernization AND providing technical advice to the development, wargaming, requirements and validation through credible analysis/evidence.
