Job summary

You will serve as a CURRENT OPERATIONS ANALYST (GROUND TRAINING) in the G-3 Division, MARINE CORPS FORCES PACIFIC (COMMARFORPAC) of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.

Major duties

You will assist in training and integration of Crisis Action Team (CAT) members from MARFORPAC staff and Command Operations Center personnel, and compile best practices, lessons learned, and updates to policies and procedures. You will perform special duty assignments and staff projects as directed, including, but not limited to, exercise planning, staff training, and development of training curricula. You will report all significant activities and events to the chain of command as well as other divisions/sections within MARFORPAC Staff. You will interpret inputs from a wide spectrum of data sources and develop recommended courses of action as they pertain to current operations and employment of Marine Corps, Joint and/or combined forces.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the execution of military ground and simulations training; planning, developing courses of action to address training and operational issues; recommend personnel assignments to the branch head; and ensuring all training requirements are met.
