Job summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies for NH-III Procuring Contracting Officer (limited warrant) positions. Major duties
You will analyze and evaluate procurement aspects of mission-oriented programs, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate the development of complex acquisition and source selection plans for specialized equipment and services. You will ensure necessary funding, waivers, and approvals are obtained for purchase requests and handle funding-related issues. You will perform market research to identify commercial solutions that meet customer needs and determine suitable sources to solicit. You will administer complex, long-term contracts for specialized systems, and services impacting major agency programs. You will utilize mastery knowledge of procurement statutes and regulations and/or contracting methods, policies, procedures, and contract types to plan and carry out long-term pre award and/or post-award procurement actions.
Qualification
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating, negotiating and assuring completion of approvals for long term pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions are completed within a timely manner. Education
Basic Qualifications for an 1102 Contracting Specialist: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
