Job summary

You will serve as a COMMAND INSPECTOR/INVESTIGATOR in the Executive Department of FORWARD DEPLOYED REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Major duties

You will perform inspections, reviews, analyses and evaluations of programs, functions, and processes. You will perform assessments and inspection of programs and procedures to ensure their accuracy in safeguarding resources and compliance with laws and regulations. You will conduct briefings to convey the results of an investigation/inspection to leadership and management officials. You will administer the IG Hotline Program in accordance with the Naval IG requirements and guidance. You will recommend actions to resolve matters pertaining to fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, or non-compliance violations. You will analyze information gathered during interviews and the investigation to determine the appropriate courses of action.

Qualification

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1. Analyzing and reviewing data sources to determine potential trends in fraud, waste, mismanagement, and misconduct; 2. Analyzing hotline allegations and complaints to determine violations; 3. Evaluating patterns of non-compliance to support recommendations for changes in policies or practices; 4. Developing professionally written materials, such as presentations, inspection reports and investigation reports; and NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position.
