Job summary
About the position: This position is located at the Seaside Restaurant at the Kadena Marina.
Major duties
Responsible for greeting guests and escorting them to their seats based on established seating guide. Takes reservations and sets up tables for large groups. Informs guests of dinner specials. May be required to receive and submit initial patron drink orders. At the end of the meal, accepts the check from the customer, totals up the sale, and accepts payment, providing change as necessary. Payment may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card. At the end of each tour of duty, the incumbent clears the cash register, completes all supporting documentation and submits to supervisor. Elevates problems to supervisor for resolution. Maintains hostess station and register in clean and orderly condition. Cleans and prepares tables for further use.
