NONAPPROPRIATED FUND POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Audiovisual Production Specialist BUSINESS TITLE: Audio/Visual Production Specialist JOB SERIES: 1071 PAY LEVEL: NF-3 INTRODUCTION: Located within the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Division, Marketing Branch, Digital Marketing & Media Section. This position produces and maintains photography, radio and videography for Marine Corps Community Services, Okinawa. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, shoots and delivers high quality photography/videography in a variety of locations and lighting conditions for print and electronic publications, public relations, and marketing materials. Audiovisual products are produced for airing on the American Forces Radio and Television Networks, MCCS TV, mccsokinawa.com, YouTube, social media and other media outlets benefiting MCCS. Maintains and secures all audio/photo/video equipment and maintains a searchable archiving system for digital assets including caption/identification information. Provides photos and videos in support of publications, public relations, social media and other marketing activities. Partners with other team members to create stories and/or other projects as assigned. Assists with other projects and assignments as needed by the Marketing Branch. Works both independently and as a team depending on the project assigned. Writes and edits scripts for radio and television production. Assesses, arranges and configures project needs in pre-production, during production and post-production. Uses lighting for the creation of media. Captures audio, photography and video on-set and on-location. Creates or compiles graphics, stills or other visual media for use in audiovisual production. Performs and coordinates voice overs for the production of audio and video. Edits audio and video into multiple formats. Troubleshoots technical problems and acts as a liaison between MCCS and local cable provider. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) to Five (5) years of photography and audio/video production experience. Dedicated portfolio website (social media galleries do not count) that demonstrates professional photography and videography experience. Demonstrated knowledge in portfolio using a variety of lighting equipment, to include: studio strobes, portable speed lights and constant light sources such as L.E.D. lighting used for videography. Demonstrated experience in using Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects or equivalent professional digital editing equipment to production television and radio commercials. Duties require travel to various locations throughout Okinawa and occasional nights and weekends. Must be able to obtain and maintain a local GOV license. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.
