Job summary
You will serve as an ASSISTANT EVALUATION MANAGER in the Procurement Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV as part of the Source Selection Division.
Major duties
You will develop and prepare the Source Selection Plan to define the process for selection and specific procedures for conducting the evaluation. You will support the senior evaluation manager’s establishment of the duties and responsibilities of the evaluation participants, and schedule of events. You will provide procurement, acquisition or source selection advice and guidance to customers in support of procurements or source selection initiatives that are not led by the SSD. You will coordinate the NAVAIR evaluation of contractors’ design, maintenance or services proposals to determine if they satisfy program and mission objectives, or resolve the unusually critical or severe problems You will work with the evaluation team to facilitate their evaluation assessments and documentation. You will review proposals and source selection documentation and evaluates, analyzes, and interprets large or complex data sets of technical, cost/price, or past performance data to make data-driven recommendations.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting large or complex data sets of technical, cost/price, or past performance data to make data-driven recommendations; 2.) Planning, developing, and leading procurements, acquisitions, or source selection functions in connection with acquisition of supply or service programs; 3.) Interpreting and applying procurement or source selection regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), DoD Source Selection Procedures, as well as Command acquisition policy; 4.) Providing procurement, acquisition or source selection advice and guidance to customers in support of procurements or source selection initiatives.
