Job summary
You will serve as an Assistant in the Hull & Deck Machinery Systems Division Code 43 or in the Power Systems Division Code 44 of NSWC PHILA DIV.
Major duties
You will serve as an advisor to management in evaluating the effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency of the division's programs and administrative operations and functions. You will monitor operation to measure progress towards reaching objectives and identifying problems and the impact of continuing operation on other areas. You will develop work operations, new and modified work methods, management processes, and administrative procedures for program operations. You will gather, compile, and evaluate facts to draw conclusions and make recommendations to program and administrative operations. You will maintain, update, monitor, develop, and evaluate technical information, contractual data, fiscal/budgetary data, appointments, and technical meetings for all programs.
Qualification
NG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7/8 grade level or NG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating clerical administrative duties in support of budgetary analysis for an organization or program. NG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/6 grade level or NG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing clerical administrative duties in support of budgetary analysis for an organization or program.
