Job summary

Major duties
You will provide technical expertise and be the primary interface for the department regarding facilities. You will provide technical support, and coordination services and lead and manage the efforts of the department facilities team in full support of the department's mission. You will support development of the Department's facility strategies and investments, including MILCON, MINCON, and major facility upgrades, personnel moves, and facility repairs required. You will ensure the department's facilities address present and future needs and long-term maintenance requirements. You will serve as the Department Security POC and develop requirements and provide technical assistance and guidance in the development of plans, processes and procedures required to meet and sustain Secure Space operational requirements. You will be responsible for the sustained reliability of facilities and equipment in support of Code 25 organizations. You will work with department leadership to determine and plan for future facility requirements including both office space, laboratory space, and new equipment installation. You will review regulations and directives to ensure assigned programs and program requirements are in compliance with overall policies, procedures, objectives and instructions. You will direct Code 25 facility program expenditures through delegated spending authority to include budgets involving, sustainment, restoration, and modernization, real property services, operations and maintenance of facilities and equipment. You will manage, direct and provide oversight for facility and safety inspections, and prepare all documentation and follow up on identified deficiencies You will require knowledge of government financial planning and of the planning, programming and budgeting System in order to identify facility and operation requirements and to ensure financial resources are available.
Qualification
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical expertise or support in analyzing, coordinating, or administering the facilities, equipment, or property management program for ensuring compliance with established facility management policies and procedures.
