Job summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (Chief Logistician) in the Corporate Operations Department (10) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.

Major duties

You will serve as the Command's Chief Logistician leading IHD’s warfare system acquisition, ISEA, product support and supportability mission requirements as well as energetics and munitions acquisition and supportability requirements. You will develop strategies to identify and meet current and future policy, process and resource requirements. You will serve as the Command’s principal advisor and competency lead on all energetics and munition matters. You will collaborate with senior Navy executives, policy makers, sponsors, acquisition and fleet supply system leadership, and Warfare Center Enterprise executives on logistics matters. You will contribute to Fleet Readiness through leverage of emerging technologies, innovation, and transfer of technology throughout program's life cycle. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, programming, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluating critical command projects and share information on technology approaches and techniques.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading and planning logistics and acquisition operations to assess and develop solutions for improved readiness.
