Job summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the NAVSURFWARCEN PORT HUENEME DIV, DEPARTMENT CHIEF LOGISTICIAN N02 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Major duties

You will be responsible for overseeing all Department Product Support activities and ensure the technical quality of the department's logistics products and processes. You will manage and execute Integrated Product Support (IPS) processes, policies, and procedures. You will be directly responsible for ensuring health and sustainability of all weapon systems supportability in system designs and elements necessary for suitable and cost effective operation. You will have insight into traditional evolving Combat System Lifecycle Support Requirements necessary to provide guidance and quality assurance for all IPS processes. You will align and partner with Fleet and Program Office/Sponsors. You will lead high-performing, cross-functional teams of engineering, technical and logistics personnel in developing and implementing programmatic requirements. You will plan, organize, and manage complex projects.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading and managing technical teams to establish objectives, set priorities, and develop strategies and solutions for an effective execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) initiatives to enhance fleet capability.
