About Army Installation Management Command
Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. Job summary
Who May Apply? US Citizens currently residing within the commuting area of Kaiserslautern, Germany (not ordinarily resident in Germany). US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than Germany. This position is located at the DFMWR Austoskills Center in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Major duties
Actively participates in management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central point of contact and handles customer support matters related to day-to-day operations. Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions informed by regulation and policy in the execution of duties. Carries out a wide variety of administrative functions related to customer support and the organization's mission. (e.g. logistics and supply).
Qualification
Work experience that requires the knowledge of how to use a computer, general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet to carry out administrative functions (e.g. personnel, logistics, supply, accounting, budget, transportation and purchasing). Possess at least twelve (12) months of customer service experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (wpm) Employee works under the general supervision of the Autoskills Program supervisor.
