Job summary

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of NAVSTA MAYPORT.

Major duties

You will enter and track expenditures in a database to keep budget data up to date. You will maintain and update file systems to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information. You will assist staff with questions and issues related to administrative functions. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar computer applications to create spreadsheets, charts, or graphs.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing direct support to the organization and programs by providing instruction on policies, goals, priorities and commitments to maintain an efficiently organized department; 2) Utilizing personal computers to produce correspondence and/or reports; and 3) Providing clerical/administrative services to assist office personnel with budget and personnel/information processing methods.
