The Defense Legal Services Agency, under the leadership of the Department of Defense’s General Counsel, provides legal advice and services to various components of the Department of Defense. It also administers programs governing military standards of conduct. The DLSA provide comprehensive and timely legal advice across the DoD enterprise (except for the Military Departments and Combatant Commands, and the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense) on issues.
