C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership for the system's development, including identifying technical issues and coordinating across the C2BMC enterprise to resolve these issues, coordinating with associate contractors developing the sim/stim equipment, reporting status at meetings, and working closely with the test and integration team to provide oversight and direction. Understanding of DoD and missile defense command and control, battle management (C2BMC) architectures and system concepts, mission, and common system test and data analysis techniques. Ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with defining the operational, physical, functional, and technical architecture necessary to describe the vision and desired capabilities of an evolving C2BMC effort.
