The successful candidate serves as the technical lead/task lead (TL) to organize, plan, schedule, implement, control, analyze, and report on all technical aspects of the program. Empowered with resources and authority to ensure efficient and timely program execution. Provides platform, systems, and security architecture and analysis support to cloud transition and modernization efforts. Architects and leverages automation to minimize the amount of manual labor involved in provisioning, developing, deploying, and program maintenance to the greatest extent possible. Assists efforts to continue/maintain parity of each CSP with the Army mandated baseline. Develops the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that support business processes and data including 1. Mapping the relationships between IT cloud computing services or platform/infrastructure components (i.e., Technology End Users, IT Systems Software & Hardware, or Info-Communications Transmission Networks); 2. Identifying the key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms impacting the programs ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance targets; and 3. Evaluating total cost of ownership and return on investment of various IT cloud/platform/infrastructure alternatives. Direct people-management responsibility is required. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics; fifteen years of combined computer/network architecture experience and five years within the past eight years of experience in Cloud Architecture is acceptable in lieu of degree.
- Ten years technical and/or management experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert software O&M of Army enterprise systems.
- Five years technical and/or management experience support industry and/or Government sector cloud initiatives at an enterprise level.
- One year within the past three years of experience defining organizational project cloud migration objectives and requirements that map to enterprise cloud vision and/or initiatives, establishing system architecture, ensuring IA compliance, directing, coordinating, and completing project efforts, interfacing with Government personnel, and providing progress reports.
- Three years within the past five years of experience with commercial CSPs (AWS or Microsoft Azure) in cloud- based disaster recovery (DR) and multi- region / multi-availability zone (AZ) high availability (HA) (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, and/or if needed for the new CSPs).
- DoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M) IASE Level III certified (CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional or CISSP Information Systems Security Engineering Professional) within 6 months of taking position.
- Must be located within 75 miles of ECMA at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
