Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) program is seeking an Experienced or Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

This position will support the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) programs in Huntsville, AL.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, integration, and analysis of resource baselines (labor, material, travel, ODC) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for various contracts/Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)/Control Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Collects, organizes and analyzes information and data to identify and explain root causes to problems, initiate variance analyses
  • Make recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, in some cases leverages earned value management practices, and supports variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule risks and opportunities
  • Support development of business cases using appropriate indices
  • Support process improvement initiatives, communicates the need for change to stakeholders and act as a finance representative for cross-functional engagements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with Financial Data (i.e. accounting, financial planning, cost management)
  • Experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, and linking worksheets)
  • Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
  • Experience with Estimates at Completion, Data Analysis, and/or Budgeting/Cost Performance Reporting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and earned value management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $79,050 - $106,950

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $99,450 - $ 134,550
