Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibility for being the EMS focal for the production technologies engineering team
- Perform as interface and support between commercial, AEO & military organizations on behalf of the EMS department
- Serve as the EMS Focal for Production Technologies, Sourcing and Quality daily management and communicate any support needs.
- Collaborate with sourcing SP&E team to establish prioritization including but not limited to source change management.
- Drive deadlines for key milestones for projects like source changes, MRL or key engine deliveries within the EMS department
- Responsible for coordinating EMS resource needs on site at shops or suppliers
- Collaborate with the commercial and military PLF's to create, maintain, prioritize & track items being worked by all EMS teams.
- Proactively communicate accurately and concisely across organizations for quick resolution of issues.
- Support & drive continuous improvement, HK efforts for EMS and the production technology team
- Help support and drive strategy for how EMS supports and connects to the Production Technology team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- This role requires experience a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Engineering/Technology and/or Disciplinary Engineering
- Willingness to travel, as needed
