Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for an individual contributor Security Manager with a secondary responsibility to provide analysis support to a critical national security program. You will help maintain and further develop a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position will require not only technical and managerial skills, but also a diligent, confident and results oriented work ethic. You will work with all levels of management and government customers. You must possess a valid driver’s license as local and domestic travel 5 -10% is required.
What You Will Do
- Manage and maintain compliance with the industrial security program for the facility in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and support access elsewhere for SCI support.
- Provide oversight and direction to other functional areas on security related matters through clear written and verbal communications.
- Your secondary responsibility (25% of job performance) is supporting the Joint Staff and USSTRATCOM/Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC) as an NC3 operational assessment observer, courier, and analyst (training provided on site).
- Understand and proactively partner with key leadership personnel at all levels, in full support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Technologies directives and policies.
- Implement OPSEC plans and counter measures.
- Prepare for customer security inspections and assistance visits, as required, to include leading and conducting security self-Inspections.
- Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other security centers of excellence (COE) to maintain facility and information security requirements.
- Manage/Oversee Top Secret Accountability Program
- Respond to afterhours alarms when necessary
Qualifications You Must Have
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or similar curriculum and a minimum of 8 years applicable experience.
- 8 years’ experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs
- Experience implementing 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
Qualification We Value
- Ability to work and take actions independently and solve problems by making sound decisions.
- Proven experience interacting positively with the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Combatant Command or military experience.
- Direct experience in Special Programs or Sensitive Comparted Information operations.
- Related training with the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency, Center for Development of Security Excellence or equivalent security certification programs.
- Willing to work after hours and/or over-time to support program requirements.
