What You Will Be Doing
As the Cyber Test & Exploitation Engineer you will be responsible for conducting exploitation testing to improve integrity and security of weapon system environments. Your responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing software to discover vulnerabilities.
• Developing custom software tools to launch exploitations on embedded systems.
• Fabricating and integrating custom hardware into existing embedded systems.
• Adapting common cyber security tools for use on embedded systems.
• Utilize domain knowledge to guide and advise development teams on building cyber secure systems.
• Solve extremely challenging and complex problems related to attack vectors and mitigations.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of issues related to both Cyber Security and Anti-Tamper.
*We typically look for a bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
*Must currently a DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher to be considered for this position*
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years of professional experience; or 12 years of relevant professional experience with a related Master's degree
• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field, and a general knowledge of other related disciplines
• Experience and familiarity with conducting penetration test events
• Experience in embedded software development
• Familiar with hardware integration and testing
• Strong understanding of DoD Weapon Systems
•Satisfy at least IAT level III of the DoD 8570/8140 requirement
Desired Skills:
• Extensive Experience developing embedded DoD National Security Systems (NSS) requiring Systems Security Engineering implementations
• Design experience through the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC) developing embedded system security solutions for DoD weapon or tactical systems
• Demonstrate both tactical as well as strategic thinking and creative problem-solving
• Experience with embedded systems design
• Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with embedded system vulnerability scanning and Software Assurance (SwA) activities
• Strong understanding of System Security Engineering (SSE) principals and process. (NIST SP 800-161)
• Experience in the identification, decomposition, allocation and verification of NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls on DoD systems
• Experience in supporting Security Verification testing on developed DoD Weapon Systems
• Leadership experience
•Certifications including: OSCP, GXPN, GAWN, CISSP-ISSAP
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

You will be a Cyber Test & Exploitation Engineer in the Program Protection Organization. Our organization oversees all aspects of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity across Missiles and Fire Control. We are chartered with providing the skills and innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain secure products across our Lines of Business.
